How can you partner with BMFP?
God commanded every Christian to take part in sharing the Gospel to “every creature” (Mark 16:15), both where we live and to “the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Partnering with BMFP is easy and a great way to help fulfill the great commission.
Is God calling you?
BMFP is committed to longevity in missions. We want you to succeed in the area where God has placed you. Here are four key elements that MUST be considered in your missionary service for the Lord:
A Missionary CALL: The Bible tells in Romans 11:29, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” The Apostle Paul had a unique call as a missionary. Yes, we are all to be witnesses, to share the Gospel, read our Bible and Pray. But there is a specific call for our life. If your calling is missions, God is already preparing. When it comes to the Missionary call, God can use anyone willing to surrender all to serve the Lord. Your “calling” will make a world of difference when faced with challenges on the mission field. It will insure longevity on the Mission Field.
A Missionary HEART: We read in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” To go to a mission field without a heart for the Lord, the Lost, and for the Labor is to guarantee failure. God will give us a heart for His calling on our life, but it must be continually cultivated to be sensitive to the Lord’s leadership.
A Missionary PLAN: Proverbs 16:3, says “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Someone has said, “even the best made plans can fail!” As a missionary, it is imperative that there is a plan because thinking ahead can save us a lot of frustration, anxiety, and discouragement. Just remember, a good plan works best with flexibility. Commit your plans to the Lord so His will is done through you in His way!
A Missionary FAITH: Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Faith is a vital part of every Christian life, but it seems to be magnified the in the life of a missionary. Our faith in Lord must be strong as we serve in different areas of the world. We can trust the Lord to supply our substance, supervise our situation, superseded our skepticism and successfully care out His schedule in our life.
Get these things right, and long and joyous service that glorifies the Lord will follow.
Why do churches partner with BMFP?
Here at BMFP, we are a family. A missionary is not just a number, but a treasured servant of God. BMFP is an arm to assist the local church as it seeks to fulfil its responsibility to reach a lost and dying world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So how does BMFP aid the Local church?
BMFP can assist your church with:
I. A Missionary Undertaking:
Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” The Local Church must have a vision of sending out missionaries! The church and missionary must have a missionary vision! BMFP is prepared and willing to help bring the missionary efforts together by aiding in transmitting this vision to the local churches.
- BMFP is an aid, a shared partner to help the Local church and the Missionary fulfill the great commission.
- BMFP does not replace in any way the Local church and only has the authority that the local church defers to it.
- BMFP is subject to and accountable to the local church for the missionary that is entrusted to them.
II. A Missionary Understanding:
BMFP has many years of experience serving with missionaries and the different challenges that they face on the mission field. Our Field Administrators have all served on the mission field. We can help you help your missionary as they navigate Pre-field Ministry and life on the mission field. Your missionary is a huge investment. BMFP is available to help you with this precious investment of a lifetime of service on the mission field.
III. Missionary Undergirding: What Does BMFP do for you?
BMFP invests many hours in the lives of our missionaries. We are in churches, colleges, and schools always on the lookout for that one the Lord is leading into missions. With the blessing of the sending church, we prepare them for pre-field ministry as they set out to raise their needed support to fulfill God’s will for their lives and then assist them in their transition to the field. Once on the field, BMFP makes every effort to provide the care they need so they can effectively serve the Lord.
