The capital of forgotten peoples
Ministry in Asia is unlike ministry in other parts of the world. It’s challenging geographically, culturally, linguistically, and especially spiritually. Asia is culturally diverse with long, colorful histories and traditions that include exotic foods, dress and festivities. More importantly, Asian culture is heavily influenced by religious practices, built into the fabric of everyday life by the false teachings of Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Sikhism and others. No other place on earth is more in need of missionaries willing to learn new languages and cultures to share the good news of the saving grace found only in the Lord Jesus Christ!
You might be surprised to know that Asia makes up about 61% of the world’s population and 62% of those living in Asia have never heard the Gospel or even the name of Jesus. Would you pray specifically about laborers in Asia?
