SHARPE, TRAVIS & APRIL

Travis and April met in Bible college, and were married in May of 1998. They were accepted as missionaries with BMFP in 1999. Their goal was to minister to the unsheltered population. They started the Garden City Rescue Mission of Augusta, GA in 2001, and served there until May of 2009. Moving to Cullman, AL, they then started a new ministry called Unshelled International. The goal was to build a ministry that would impact the unsheltered population in many states as well as other countries. 

 Today, Unsheltered International has ministries in the USA as well as the Philippines and Mexico. The focus is to preach the gospel and bring help and hope to the unsheltered. The most recent project is a 17 acre development in Cullman, AL where they are creating sub division of tiny homes with several amenities. This development will be a long-term discipleship program for people who are overcoming homelessness.  

Travis and April also serve as assistant USA field administrators for BMFP.
