CEPEC, SANDRA

Hi, my name is Sandra Cepec -missionary to Trinidad & Tobago. 

I surrender my life to serve the Lord in the area of missions at the age of 11. I met my husband in Bible college and we were married on July 2, 1988. The Lord called our family to serve him on the island of Trinidad (1994 – 2005) and used my husband to help in the starting of three churches.  

God blessed us with five children, Our oldest son was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer at the age of 15.  Stephen battled cancer for 8 years and went home to be with the Lord November 21st, 2013.  

My husband and I then started making plans to return to the mission field, but in 2014, my husband went in for a hernia procedure and woke up to receive the unexpected news that he also had cancer. He was diagnosed with Epithelioid Peritoneal Mesothelioma. After 5 years of treatments, my husband entered into the presence of the Lord on July 26th, 2019.  Our last missions trip together was 5 months before he went home to be with the Lord.  

God has opened the door for me to continue serving Him in the area of missions and I am currently working under the leadership of a national pastor here in Trinidad. 

I’m very thankful to the Lord for being a “very present help in trouble” and for His grace that is all sufficient. I’m also very thankful for the opportunity that God has given me to continue serving him in the area of missions.
