Nathan’s Bio – I was raised in church, my Dad was the assistant pastor in CA for 16 years, then in 2006 my family moved to Charleston, SC where my Dad became the pastor of our sending church, Coastal Light Baptist Church. We moved when I was 9 years old, then upon graduation in 2015 I moved back to CA where I attended Golden State Baptist College and obtained a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Missions. In 2019, I graduated in May, was married in June, and began deputation in September. We completed deputation in February of 2023 and then moved to Iceland where we have been serving along side veteran missionaries Patrick and Vicki Weimer.
Megumi’s Bio – I was born in Japan, and then at three months old, I was adopted by and American family who were missionaries to the military in Iceland. I grew up in Iceland from three months old until I was twelve years old when the military base was shut down. We then came off the field and moved to NC where my dad became a pastor for a short time. I attended both Pensacola Christian College and Golden State, but graduated from Golden Sate Baptist College in 2019. I was then married to my husband and we were on deputation for about three years before moving back to Iceland to serve with First Baptist Church, which is the same church my Dad was the pastor of years ago.
Everett’s Bio – I was born while my parents were on deputation. The first three years of my life were spent traveling from one church to another. Good thing I was young enough that I won’t remember this. I love dinosaurs, tractors and playing with my little sister.
Amelia’s Bio – I was born in Iceland on New Year’s Day of 2024! My birth was celebrated by all of Iceland with fireworks and parties. I have one tooth, and I am a fast crawler. I love my family.
Ministry Bio – We are serving here at First Baptist Church in Njarðvik, Iceland. We fill many roles here from sound technician, song leader, Sunday school teacher, nursery coordinator, mid week chef, and so much more. We have been serving here for almost a year and a half as we landed in the country on March 1st of 2023. We serve along side Pastor Patrick and Mrs. Vicki Weimer and assist wherever needed. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve Christ. God has been so good to us and we look forward to seeing what God has in store for our ministry and family.
