My wife, Debbie, and I met in July 1978. She had been saved about 3 years. I wasn’t saved until Sept. 15 1978. We attended Liberty Baptist Church in Mocksville for 7 years. God called me to preach in March 1983. We started attending Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville in 1985 and quickly began preaching in a Jr. Church and operating a bus route in Lexington, N.C. I was a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and soulwinner there. The Lord moved us to Woodland Baptist Church in Rural Hall in 2015, while operating the truck stop ministry in Mocksville at the T/A Truck Stop. The Lord called me out to pastor a church from 2020-2023. The Lord called me back into the truck stop ministry in a little different fashion. We’re going to be pulling a 24′ chapel trailer setting up in different truck stops offering the drivers a place to worship God and to hear the preaching of the Word of God. I will be supplying KJV Bibles, Booklets on how to get started in their lives after being born again. And giving advice to the drivers on attending a good Bible believing, Bible preaching church where they live.
