Opportunities to get involved
BMFP has missionaries around the globe, that would love to see you get more involved in missions. Please read through the opportunities below and fervently pray about how the Lord would have you get more involved in world missions. Many people testify that their leap into working with a missionary changed their life; the second will too!
Mission Trips:
If you have a desire to take a mission trip, let us help you get the ball rolling! Our Pre-field Administrator, Matt Quitter, can help connect you with a missionary to fulfil the desire God has put in your heart. Please click here to send an email with your desire to go. Be sure to include where you would like to go and what you would like to accomplish (could be anything from getting involved to active missionary work, to simply taking a first trip out the country to encourage a missionary). We will help you plan a trip that will be a blessing to you as you bless a missionary and a people that need to hear the Gospel.
Mission Emphasis Sunday:
Pastor, we desire to help you encourage the people God has placed under your care in missions. Someone once said, “Missions is the Heartbeat of God.” In a world full of distractions and entertainment, Missions, in many cases, has become less emphasized. We have a desire to see a world where hearts are tender toward missions and reaching the world with the Gospel.
Where do our future missionaries come from? They come from local Baptist Churches who have a heart for missions! One of the best ways to help your church to maintain its heart for missions is to have experienced Missions leaders come in for a special Mission emphasis Sunday. BMFP offers the possibility to host a BMFP Mission Sunday at your church!
What does this look like? Depending on what a church might want, we could have several of leaders, Field Administers or Representatives speak in your services on a particular Sunday. We would speak on missions, explain what a mission board does and how we aid the local church, answer questions, and add anything you believe would be helpful. We are here to help you help your church and want to be a blessing and an encouragement with no financial obligation.

Ark Youth Ministries:
Ark Youth Ministries has many opportunities to volunteer to help minister to young people.
Consider helping or attending Mission Possible Youth Camp.
Homeless Ministries:
Unsheltered International (a ministry Under BMFP), has many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Most of them center around resource clinics for the homeless. They welcome people to join these events held in different states 6-7 times each year. They are extremely Evangelistic in nature and a wonderful way to serve the homeless population in a safe and responsible manner.
