Many of you know that I preach a lot of Faith Promise Mission Conferences. One of my favorite verses on the subject is II Cor. 8:9 where Paul says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.”

Alice and I were in Germany when we heard the news that Missionary Sister Sally Evans went home to be with her Saviour May 17th, 2016. Sally and her husband Lawrence...
In II Cor. 12:15 the Apostle Paul said, “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.”
Many times missionaries feel like they need to give glowing reports in their prayer letters. Often they feel that to give less would cause their financial support to be in jeopardy from churches.
One of the sad things that I notice as I preach in churches is that most Christians do not know how to pray effectively for missionaries.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
